HOW TO USE THIS SITE

ALL UNDERLINED WORDS AND, BUTTONS ARE LINKS YOU CAN FOLLOW BY CLICKING, AS ARE IMAGES WHICH DISPLAY A SMALL HAND WHEN YOU MOUSE OVER THEM.

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A DEAD END WHERE NO BACK LINKS ARE IN PLACE, OR IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED LINKS TO EXTERNAL SITES, PLEASE USE YOUR BACK ARROW KEY TO RETURN TO PREVIOUS PAGES.

SOME PAGES HAVE SCROLLBARS SO YOU CAN POSITION THE TEXT IN THE CENTRE OF YOUR PAGE WHATEVER TEXT SIZE OR BROWSER YOU ARE USING.

I built the site as a one-year project funded by a Millennium Award sponsored by the Multiple Sclerosis Society. It will be constantly changing as a result of your input, so please come back again.

The site is based on my unpublished book, "UniQ" which is in turn based on the experience of over 30 years of counselling on loss issues.

It may not suit everyone. Since I am visually handicapped, the text is large and colours bright. But it is also is designed to enable you to work on two levels, with input to both left and right brain hemispheres, both to be aesthetically pleasing and to encourage you to make subconscious associations to achieve personal insight.

It is designed to be mood-changing and to encourage you to examine the feelings you experience. Some pages are meant to irritate or to disquiet, and others to calm you and help you to feel good.

If you find the colours or graphics distracting please read the plain-text printer ready versions. But remember that you will not get the same benefits from a one-sided, purely intellectual approach.

(Printer-friendly versions of book pages have no links. Use your own back arrow to return from them to main menu.)

Feel free to dip into the text as you wish, to take whatever you need and leave the rest until you feel more comfortable with it. Each chapter stands alone and each exercise can be done in isolation.

Do not hesitate to contact me privately by email if you require more help, explanation, or just a listening ear. You can also post messages in the guest book or on the forum where where you can share your experience with others.
